Finance acts as a trusted advisor to ensure that our senior management has the tools to make profound strategic and financial decisions. Our functions include financial planning, accounting, tax, payments, corporate finance, debt and equity issues, as well as M&A.
Teams
Accounting
In Accounting we give company figures a structure. We assure compliance with relevant GAAPs (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Furthermore, we prepare monthly and yearly group reportings for the whole group as well as single consolidated financial statements for all companies of AUTO1 Group. Last but not least we secure that all employees get their salary on time.
Tax
We ensure compliant tax reporting, support our business in day to day tasks and provide valuable input for new business structures and markets. We manage tax audits and liaise with authorities. Out credo: every penny counts! Our daily work is split into direct and indirect taxes and global and local work. As a good tax landscape has to set up globally, we work closely with our colleagues from abroad.
Financial Systems & Processes
Handshakes are our daily business. We make sure that everybody works connected and knows what he/she is doing. We provide process guidance and secure that our systems (and people) talk to each other. No loose end should occur once we get involved and start stirring. Checks and controls run through our veins, improvements is what we aim for.
Financial Planning & Controlling
In our team, we take care of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business planning. We support our management in establishing business objectives and monitoring results. We analyze drivers and trends of our business segments, reflect these in short- and long-term financial planning. We contribute to financial models of new business ideas.
Treasury/Cash Management
In the Treasury and Cash Management teams, we have our hands on the money! We ensure that the correct payments go in and out every day, as well as manage the overall cash and liquidity planning for the business and its various legal entities.
