Our Tax & Risk Management department is responsible for the national and international planning, implementation and monitoring of all tax matters. It supports our top management in all matters relating to tax law.
The Risk Management and Internal Controls Team ensures that we have the internal structures to detect, report, quantify, steer, monitor, and communicate potential risks of the AUTO1 Group.
Your new Role
- Work closely with our Team Lead Risk Management & Internal Controls and our Head of Internal Audit, on various projects throughout our European business
- Use internal controls and risk management to review our operations and to mitigate risks
- Identify risk factors and implement action plans to avoid, transfer, lower or accept risks
- Shape the way we work - write internal policies, check our guidelines and monitor the respective implementation
- Communicate and collaborate with various internal stakeholders
Your Skills
- A degree in economics or in another relevant field
- First relevant experience in finance, accounting, internal controls or risk management
- Good analytical skills & attention to details along with a good command of Excel and Google docs
- Excellent communication skills and a curious & problem-solving mindset
- Ability to fluently communicate verbally and written in English, German is a plus
