Meet Our Brand Ambassadors: Ralf Schumacher & Antonio Lobato

We are excited to introduce our two brand ambassadors from the world of motorsports who are representing our wirkaufendeinauto.de brand in Germany and compramostucoche.es in Spain. While former German Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher has been the ambassador of wirkaufendeinauto.de since last fall, we are thrilled to introduce renowned Spanish sports journalist and television presenter Antonio Lobato as the new face of compramostucoche.es! Here’s a closer look at some behind-the-scenes insights from our Brand and Marketing teams and what these partnerships entail.
Ralf Schumacher for wirkaufendeinauto.de
Since November 2023, Ralf Schumacher has been the ambassador for wirkaufendeinauto.de, bringing a familiar face to our brand in Germany and Austria. While searching for an ambassador last year, Ralf stood out as a top choice in our comprehensive market research surveys. His notable standing within our target audience, paired with his acknowledged expertise in motorsports, lends him a significant level of credibility that resonates well with car enthusiasts and sellers alike.

Since the start of the partnership, Ralf has been featured in various TV commercials, showcasing the straightforward and efficient process of selling a used car through our platform. The first shoot, led in-house by Elias Gorre, Senior Creative Producer, and Beate Zieger, Brand Photography Expert, took place at two locations in Berlin: the wirkaufendainauto.de branch in Tempelhof and a rented-out apartment.
Introducing Antonio Lobato for compramostucoche.es
In Spain, Antonio Lobato is known for his deep understanding of the motorsports sector and his ability to connect with audiences. Antonio will guide our Spanish consumers through our platform's seamless and transparent car-selling process. As the new face of the Spanish brand, he will appear in various television commercials, breaking down the selling process from the convenient online vehicle valuation to the final transaction at a nearby branch. Additionally, Antonio will share valuable tips across our channels and social media platforms.

Our Brand Content Creation team recently had a two-day shoot to create promotional materials for the collaboration announcement. "Receiving a new project from our creative team is always an exhilarating challenge," shares Beate, who also led Antonio's debut shoot as our ambassador. "From scouting locations to leaving a handwritten note for the owner of our favorite location to casting an Australian actor as a Spanish customer - anything is possible! We're fortunate to handle most of the production in-house, with Victor and Elias directing and our producers playing pivotal roles on set. Additionally, we collaborate with an exceptional external crew who consistently bring our concepts to life very efficiently. All this is truly the key to a successful shoot.”
