Inside AUTO1 Group's Unforgettable 2024 Summer Events

As we say goodbye to the summer of 2024, we reflect on the joyous celebrations that brought our teams together across Europe. This year, our colleagues in Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Albania, Poland, Belgium, and the Nordics gathered at various locations to enjoy the summer festivities, with unique venues providing stunning backdrops for us all to connect and celebrate. Whether it was swaying gently on a boat party, dancing on a sandy beach by the Berlin riverside, or embracing the elegance of a white-themed soirée, each event was an evening to remember.

These incredible events were made possible by the dedication and creativity of our organizing teams, whose hard work and attention to detail ensured that each celebration was a success. "Collaborating on the organization of the summer party every year is an exciting experience," shares Roberta Chimirri, Team Lead People Administration in Italy, who has been with AUTO1 Group for almost nine years. “It is such a special moment for our company. Not only for fun but also because it’s an opportunity to strengthen bonds between colleagues from different cities, share stories, enjoy good food, and toast the successes achieved. This year's event was truly special because we also celebrated the conclusion of another major event, the AUTOlimpiad1. The awards ceremony for the company Olympics and the fluorescent theme brought an explosion of color and joy, and seeing colleagues from all over Italy having fun together was fantastic!"

Maria Senra, Head of People Spain & Portugal, who has also been with AUTO1 Group for over nine years, echoes this sentiment. "It was great to be part of the organization team for the Iberia Party. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, and everyone enjoyed how engaging and fun the evening was. People truly appreciated the opportunity to meet those they work with daily while enjoying delicious food and creating wonderful memories together."

Among those contributing to the success of our events were also some new joiners, like Pierre Ravelojaona, Junior Communications Manager in France. “Organizing the Summer Party was a great opportunity for me, especially as I had only recently joined the company,” he shares. “It allowed me to talk to many people and get to know my colleagues better. Despite a last-minute change of venue, the evening was a success. Receiving all the positive feedback from the teams was incredibly gratifying for my manager Caroline and me, and we're already looking forward to next year's event."

As we transition into the cooler months, the memories of our summer events remind us of the unity and strength within our international team and inspire us to look forward to the coming year with enthusiasm.
