New Dimension of Safety for Polish Drivers Thanks to Autohero Poland

In a move towards enhancing road safety, Autohero Poland announced its partnership with Rescue Sheets under the "Karta Ratownicza w pojeździe” campaign (which translates to “Vehicle Rescue Card”). This initiative, supported by the Automobile Dealers Association and the Polish Automotive Industry Association, aims to increase the efficiency of emergency services during car accidents. As of December 2023, all cars sold by Autohero in Poland are equipped with a Rescue Sheet, marking a crucial step in our commitment to safety.
At first glance, the Rescue Sheet is a seemingly ordinary A4 sheet of paper. However, it holds critical information for rescue services, including detailed diagrams of the vehicle highlighting key elements such as body reinforcements, airbag locations, and gas belt tensioners. Stored behind the car's sun visor and indicated by a sticker on the windscreen, this sheet guides rescuers in their life-saving efforts.
The development of the “Autohero & Rescue Sheets” project was a clear demonstration of effective cross-team collaboration, all aimed at improving driver and passenger safety. Our teams worked together to ensure the Rescue Sheets were smoothly integrated into our production process, reflecting our commitment to maintaining operational efficiency.
Led by our Communications & PR Manager CEE, Marta Kotula-Graftieaux, the project benefited from the collective efforts of various teams, including Consumer PR, Social Media, Brand Marketing & Content Creation, as well as the management staff of Autohero Poland and the Logistics team. This resulted in numerous media publications about the campaign, including coverage by Autoexpert and Nowoczesna Flota, as well as videos across our social media platforms. "Working on the Autohero & Rescue Sheets project was an incredibly rewarding experience," Marta describes. “Knowing that we were contributing to the safety of drivers and passengers gave us a profound sense of purpose. I am looking forward to the next steps within our project."
The collaboration extended beyond the company - we also had the support of the Volunteer Fire Brigade, notably through the involvement of firefighter Piotr Tabencki. His participation in our educational initiatives, as seen on our Autohero social media page, not only amplified the message about the critical importance of the Rescue Sheet but also underscored the value of community engagement in our mission.
